This custom white oak floating staircase was designed and installed for a contemporary residential property in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The goal was to create a visually light structure that enhanced the open-concept layout while maintaining structural integrity and code compliance.
We crafted each tread from premium-grade white oak, applied a natural matte finish to highlight the wood grain, and integrated concealed steel supports to achieve the floating effect. A frameless tempered glass railing system was installed to preserve the minimalist aesthetic and maximize natural light flow.
